Early HumansIn this unit we will learn about the earliest people. We will see how they learned to make tools, hunt, gather food, and even create art. Throughout the unit each student will create an artifact of a hunter's tool, a skit about the beginning of fire, and an illustrated timeline. Students will have the opportunity to use the iPads to conduct further research on the four major groups of hominids that appeared in Africa between 5 million and about 200,000 years ago.
